July 23 to 25th is the Turkish Festival in Ottawa at the Confederation Park. Visitors can admire Turkish art, fold dance, music and gourmet food. Come learn, celebrate and savour the Turkish culture, heritage, hospitality and cuisine.

Thursday's Canada Day festivities start at 9am on Parliament Hill with the Carillon Concert followed by the Flag-Raising Ceremony to celebrate the Canadian Naval Centennial. Changing of the Guard will be at 10am followed by the RCMP Musical Ride.

Fireworks will begin around 10pm. Some of the best views for the show include Jacques-Cartier Park, the Canadian Museum of Civilization as well as Major's Hill Park.
