Thursday's Canada Day festivities start at 9am on Parliament Hill with the Carillon Concert followed by the Flag-Raising Ceremony to celebrate the Canadian Naval Centennial. Changing of the Guard will be at 10am followed by the RCMP Musical Ride.

The month of May is a busy month in Ottawa, Ontario with all the festivals in and around the City. The Ottawa International Children's Festival will be held in LeBreton Flats from May 26th to the 30th. The festival is a celebration of the performing arts for children's and their families. Present will be highly acclaimed international and local artists performing dances, visual arts, music and theatre.
